Pattern: Spring Linen

The largest project ever undertaken, this massive king size quilt is made from all solids with a two-tone, shadow effect, and subtle center diamonds framed in the palest shade of pink. Like the ENTWINED QUILT, the design creates depth, and the illusion of overlapping blocks. Arranging the blocks for assembly proved challenging due to the sheer size of this quilt. I chose lightweight batting, also making this a perfect quilt for warm weather. Notice the “piano keys” borders, and the unexpected floral backing. If you’re in a quiet mood, simply flip the quilt over and be soothed by a neutral field of flowers.
