Pattern: Log Cabin

This is my very first quilt! Queen size - nothing like starting out “small”! Knowing little about quilting, I accompanied a friend, then an expectant mother, to a quilt class. Pretty good quilts appeared in 3 weeks’ time (and a beautiful baby arrived for my friend some time later). Colors typical of the 1980’s date this quilt, but it remains intact. The quilt lacks binding and longarm finishing since we didn’t have all the wonderful tools and techniques we have today.
