Pattern: Self-Designed

Designed for a booklover as a Christmas gift, this quilt uses over one hundred different fabrics so there are no duplicate books on the shelves. The quilt features a plant, 20 books with embroidered titles held in place by marble-like bookends, a photo that sits atop school yearbooks, an old map alongside antique books, an appliquéd starfish which recalls a favorite vacation spot, and a special section of Christmas titles. The design is a composite created after culling many bookshelf quilt patterns.
